NetThink 21 has just re-opened the Plexi Palace online discussion forum with a host of upgrades. We dedicated substantial time to testing and planning the changes before going live with the upgrades, and performed the upgrades overnight so there would be minimal inconvenience for the large user base of 13,500 members.
The upgrades included:
- Converting phpBB2 to phpBB3
- Adding a configurable RSS feed to the forum
- Implementing an advertising solution to display text and banner ads
- Integrating a video advertisement system
- Customizing the phpBB3 template
