
Follow the process of creating a fresh graphic identity for print and web, from concept to finished product. King Kong Hobbies of Minnesota is currently undergoing a redesign by NetThink 21. The first steps involve proposing new ideas for a logo and site header.
For the initial concept, we proposed two different ideas.
Concept A
A clean, modern logo with a radio control antenna to reflect the shop’s product range.

Concept B
Angled text inspired by a movie poster, with planes and helicopters zooming out in an attempt to capture some of the drama and imagery the King Kong name inspires.

The client responded strongly to Concept B, so rather than explore other concepts, we refined the idea with more detailed graphics. Here is the result:
