NetThink 21 has just completed a substantial update to the web site of Hot Strings Guitar. We specialize in timely web site maintenance for our clients. Hot Strings Guitar shop has just added a new line of products, a selection of ten new acoustic guitar building DVDs, to sell on their web site.

We created an overview page showing all the DVDs with a brief description and photo. Clicking those links takes the user to a detailed info page for each DVD which contains a teaser video clip and PayPal purchase button. The video clips are an effective selling tool, especially given the quality of video that Hot Strings produces. Using a video hosting service like MySpace or YouTube can help ensure a wider audience for the video clip and direct traffic to the web site.

New Web Site Under Development

NetThink 21 is proud to announce a new site under development at the domain www.plexireplicas.com. The Plexi Replicas web site will offer a selection of vintage replica guitar amplifiers. The product is high-end, and built to order in very limited quantities, and we are creating an online design to reflect those qualities.

We expect to launch the site on May 9th to coincide with the New York Amplifier show where the products will be announced. A print magazine article is also planned for May which will help drive traffic to the new site. NetThink 21 will be providing graphic design and php/html/css coding for the front end, copy writing, photo editing, along with the back end code and search engine optimization.

NetThink 21 has just opened a new home site at VintageAmps.com to act as a portal to the Vintage Amps Forum. The main site is now a blog that will allow for easy publishing of updates on the home page and give site visitors fresh content in addition to the Vintage Amps Forum. The forum and blog are styled to match.

The Vintage Amps blog will feature content relating to vintage guitars, guitar amplifiers, touring musicians, music history, product announcements, and more. Prestashop E-Commerce Installation

Sweet As Guava Jelly Shirt Design

Surf Shack Baby asked NetThink 21 to design another t-shirt graphic for their line of surf and island themed clothing. The creative breif called for a design that would appeal to little girls based around the phrase “Sweet As Guava Jelly”. A jar of home-made guava jelly purchased in Saint Maarten provided the inspiration.

We presented two design concepts, shown below. The design on the left is based on psychedelic concert posters and intended for multi-colored printing. The design on the right is more straightforward with smaller lettering and designed to be printed in a single color.

Surf Shack Baby preferred the single-color design and ended up printing it on their entire range of girls and infants clothing, from onesies to lap tees to tank tops. You can purchase Sweet As Guava Jelly clothing from them on their website.

Advertising Campaign Creation

NetThink 21 has designed a new advertising concept for MetroAmp, for their print advertising campaign. Get a sneak peak at the advertisement that will run in next month’s issue of Vintage Guitar Magazine to promote the popular line of build-it-yourself kits. We provided the concept, created the tagline, wrote the copy, and designed the graphics.

Surf Shack Baby Grand Opening

NetThink 21 is pleased to announce the grand opening of SurfShackBaby.com, the new e-comerce web site for one of our valued clients, Surf Shack Baby, LLC. Surf Shack Baby is a clothing label and lifestyle brand focused on surf clothing for infants, boys, and girls. The merchandise has found an audience in the first day of business, with orders already coming in.

The three initial collections are original graphic designs created by NetThink 21 exclusively for Surf Shack Baby. The product range also includes several items for moms and dads. Inspired by the classic skate and surf brands of the 1980’s (Powell Peralta, Bones, O’Neill), the owners sought to apply the same clever and edgy graphic style to infant and children’s clothing.
