Wikipedia uses an open-source software package called MediaWiki to create a user-generated encyclopedia. Using the same software, NetThink 21 created a wiki for MetroAmp.com, the Vintage Amplifier & Tech Wiki. Category 5 Amplification of Austin, Texas hired NetThink 21 to design a dynamic new emblem to symbolize their company. They planned to machine the finished design out of sheet metal and affix it to their amplifiers as a badge, so we created a suitable vector design using MicroCAD software. As part of the server migration for MetroAmp.com, the discussion board was upgraded to the latest release of the open-source forum software phpBB3. Converting the bulletin board from phpBB2 to phpBB3 provided the perfect opportunity to add a custom theme to the forum, and incorporate the ability to sell ad space on the high-traffic site.
