NetThink 21 created several original designs around the phrase “Born To Surf” and a creative brief calling for a distressed look with paint spatter. The designs are for screenprinting on T-shirts, tank tops, and children’s onesies and shirts for a Florida surf clothing company. You will soon be able to purchase this design from the Surf Shack Baby online store we are developing.
We created two initial variations incorporating a surfer, central icon, wings, and paint spatter background. Varying the text baseline, proportions, and scale of elements produced two distinct concepts.
Based on feedback from the client we completed this final version in a tighter, more horizontal layout. We then applied distress effects to produce a worn look for pinting.
